The number of people affected by the earthquake in Japan has risen to 43, according to the Kyodo news agency.
Tremors with a magnitude of 5.9 were recorded on the night of October 7 northeast of Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), the epicenter of the earthquake was in Chiba Prefecture.
The tremors were recorded at 22.41 local time at a depth of 80 km.
JMA warned of aftershocks of similar magnitude expected within a week.
Rockfalls and landslides can also occur.
The Fire and Disaster Management Agency reports that the condition of the two victims is critical.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism reports that about 75 thousand elevators do not work in Tokyo, at 28 people were stuck after the earthquake, everyone was saved.
