MADRID, Nov. 19. (EUROPA PRESS) –
This Saturday, November 18, the National Police seized a pistol from a second lieutenant of the Army, stationed at the General Academy of Zaragoza, who was present at the protests on Ferraz Street in front of the national headquarters of the PSOE, National Police sources have reported.
The intervention took place around 10:00 p.m. yesterday at the security filter on Marqués Urquijo Street that the National Police sets up in the area every night.
The alferez’s pistol was seized with its ownership guide (document that identifies the weapon) and the TIP (Professional Identification Card).
Due to these events, the Police have proposed a sanction for violation of Organic Law 4/2015 on the Protection of Citizen Security, popularly known as the gag law.
The sixteenth day of protests brought together 1,500 people, according to the Government Delegation. Around 11:00 p.m., the National Police began charging the most radical hooded protesters who were in the front row, after they began to kick and overturn the fences that protected the PSOE headquarters in Ferraz.
The National Police arrested six men, all of them of legal age, during the rally protesting the amnesty law, as reported by the Government Delegation in Madrid.
Specifically, two of the detainees have been arrested for public disorder and attack on a law enforcement agent, one for public disorder and the other three for attack, resistance and disobedience to officers and threats.
