“Dune: Part 2”one of the most anticipated blockbusters of Warner Bros., has had several delays in its release date, but is now shaping up to be one of the hits of next spring worldwide. The film stars Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya.
Originally the film would hit theaters in the United States on October 20, 2023, but shortly after the date was changed to November 17. Due to the strike of Hollywood actors, the producers decided that the premiere would be in 2024, and now it has been confirmed that it will be on March 1.

In the mid-70s the Chilean director Alejandro Jodorowsky (known from films like “The mole” and “Holy Blood”) tried to bring the novel by Frank Herbert “Dune”, but due to financial problems the project was not carried out. The reviews were bad and the director was not satisfied with the final result, to the point of removing his name from the television version, using the pseudonym “Alan Smithee.” Thus, for a long time a version was awaited that would adequately reproduce Herbert’s visual concept on film, and finally Villeneuve’s film emerged, which could have up to a third part.
