Latin American countries continue to record new cases of contamination and death from Covid-19.

In the past 24 hours, Covid-19 has killed 293 in Brazil, 224 in Mexico, 55 in Colombia, 46 in Argentina, 31 in Chile and 45 in Guatemala.

According to data from the Brazilian Ministry of Health, the country has recorded a total of 586,851 deaths. The number of cases recorded in the last 24 hours was 10,615, bringing the total to 20,999,779 cases.

Brazil is the second country in number of deaths after the United States.

Mexico registered 5,139 new cases, bringing the total to 3,511,882 cases. The country has also recorded 267,748 deaths.

Colombia has recorded a total of 4,930,249 cases, including 1,671 in the last 24 hours, in addition to 125,647 deaths in total.

Argentina has announced 113,402 deaths so far. The country has counted 930 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 5,224,534 cases.

Chile has recorded a total of 37,232 deaths and 1,644,071 cases of infection, including 441 in the last 24 hours.

The Covid-19 has killed 12,710 in total in Guatemala, in addition to 510,724 cases, including 1,070 detected in the last 24 hours, according to local media.
