A mass brawl of schoolchildren broke out on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
As the press service of the administration of the Batken district of Kyrgyzstan told Kabar, on September 23 at 13:00 in the village of Kok-Tash on the Dakhma section, 30 Tajik schoolchildren attacked four Kyrgyz schoolchildren returning from school.
As a result, Kyrgyz children were taken to hospital with various injuries. The fathers and relatives of the injured schoolchildren responded by beating up two of the attacked schoolchildren and their parents. About 20-40 people gathered in the area of the incident.
During the negotiations, officials of the two countries decided to conduct explanatory work among the population and bring the perpetrators of the conflict to justice.
At the moment, the situation in the border area is stable and is under the control of law enforcement agencies.
