A teacher in the Las Vegas Valley had prohibited sexual relations with a student for a period of four years, allege the authorities in that city.
Kaitlin Glover, 34, was arrested last Wednesday and charged with lewdness against a minor 14 or 15 years of age and engaging in sexual conduct with a female ward 16 or older.
The attorney representing Mountain View Christian Schools, Marc Cook, indicated that the teacher taught at the campus where courses are offered from pre-school to high school while the victim was a student, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported this week.
The young woman told officers at the Metropolitan Police Department last summer that He had a four-year relationship with the athletics teacher, from 2017 to 2021.
According to the girl’s testimony, They mostly communicated on Snapchat.. In those exchanges, Glover allegedly sent her nude photos.
By autumn 2018, according to the victim’s version, Glover picked her up at school to engage in sexual acts with her..
“The victim remembered sending Kaitlin Glover, her teacher, two nude photos via cell phone,” the detectives detailed in the police report.
“(She) did not tell anyone about the relationship for four years because the suspect, Kaitlin Glover, told him she was going to kill herself if he left her or if he told the Police, ”adds the complaint.
Glover was interviewed by officers in July 2022 and denied the allegations.. She claimed that she was only a mother figure to the teen and a mentor.
Following the accusation against him last week, Glover was released on her own recognizance. and he was ordered not to have any kind of contact with the girl. The defendant must return to court for a hearing on September 14.
The victim graduated from school in 2021. In Glover’s case, she was removed from the position since the girl’s relatives alerted school officials to the illegal relationship earlier this year.
