The current Altroz is a premium hatchback car from Tata Motors. It is available for sale in the Indian market. Next month, Tata Motors will launch its Altroz Co version in the Indian market. The name of the new hatchback is said to be Tata Altroz Racer. Tata Motors showcased its upcoming car at the recently held Bharat Mobility Expo. The teaser image that came out recently and the pictures shared on the internet before that have revealed the design of the new car. The Tata Altroz Racer, which will be launched next month, will also be based on the same platform on which the current Tata Altroz is built. Like the current model, the new Altroz will get 16-inch wheels. Some changes will have been made in the grille and dual-tone exterior of the upcoming Altroz Racer. Due to this change, the visual look of the hatchback looks sporty.

It is expected that changes will also be made in the cabin to match the sporty nature of the Altroz Racer. The car will get ‘Racer’ badging with dash and updated upholstery highlights. It will have more equipment than the current model and an updated 10.25-inch infotainment system with multiple connectivity options. The next important change in the new car will be seen in the engine. The petrol engine in the current Altroz generates 108bhp power. In comparison, the engine found in the Altroz Racer is capable of generating 118bhp power like the Nexon turbo petrol engine. The updated engine of the new Altroz is capable of giving it a tough competition to the Hyundai i20 N Line available in the Indian market. The petrol engine installed in this hatchback car of Hyundai generates 118bhp power. It is expected that the Tata Altroz Racer will get only a 6-speed manual option with the engine for transmission. Tata Altroz Racer, which is being launched next month, will give tough competition to vehicles like Hyundai i20 N Line, Maruti Suzuki Fronx turbo, Toyota Taisor available in the Indian market.
