Tata Motors will launch the new Altroz ​​Racer in the Indian market tomorrow i.e. on Friday, June 7. The company recently released several teasers on its social media platform. All the details related to the design and features of the new car have come out from this teaser. Tata Altroz ​​is a hatchback segment car. Booking for this has already started, buyers can book it online from home or offline by visiting their nearest showroom. Tata Altroz ​​Racer was showcased for the first time at the country’s largest motorshow Auto Expo 2023 held in January 2023. After that a glimpse was shown at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2023 held this year.

Tata Altroz ​​Racer: Design

Talking about the design, the Tata Altroz ​​Racer will get re-designed front and rear bumpers with air intake. And it will have refreshed front and radiator grille. The new car will now be available in orange color option. It will have a special black roof and dual white stripes on the entire bonnet. It has black treatment on A, B and C pillars including roof, wing mirror, window line and integrated spoiler. It will also have shark-fin antenna and ‘Racer’ badging on the fender.

Tata Altroz ​​Racer: Interior and Exterior

Altroz ​​Racer is a sporty edition of Tata Motors’ existing Altroz. The new hatchback will see many updates like powerful engine, cosmetic changes, updated interior with new features. Talking about the interior, Altroz ​​Racer will have a sporty interior. It will get black dashboard layout with color accents and special stitches on the seat and steering wheel. Apart from this, it also includes colored inserts and ambient lighting on the exterior color. The teaser also confirmed that the hatchback car will get an electric sunroof, other expected features include Apple CarPlay / Android Auto and 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, connected car tech, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, head-up display and voice-assisted sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless charging, cruise control, parking sensors and many more.

Tata Altroz ​​Racer: Engine and price

After launch in the Indian market, Tata Altroz ​​Racer will directly compete with i20 N-Line. Altroz ​​Racer gets a more powerful engine than the current Tata Altroz. It has a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine that generates 120bhp of power and 170Nm of torque. For transmission, a 5-speed manual has been paired with the engine of the hatchback. Tata Altroz ​​Racer can get another transmission option with the engine – Dual-clutch DCA automatic gearbox, although it has not been officially confirmed yet. Regarding the price of the new Tata Altroz ​​Racer, it is expected that its price can start from around Rs 9.8 lakh (ex-showroom).
