Taliban orders fighters not to enter Afghan capital

The Taliban movement ordered its fighters on Saturday to stop at the gates of the Afghan capital Kabul and not to attempt to access it.

The instruction comes after the movement invaded 30 provinces, out of a total of 34, and took control of all border crossings, as well as all neighborhoods on the outskirts of the Afghan capital Kabul.

Taliban said in a statement that it had instructed its fighters to stay at the gates of the Afghan capital Kabul and not to attempt to enter it.

The movement added that the security of Kabul is the responsibility of the “opposite side” until the end of the “transition operation”, according to what the local channel “TOLOnews” reported on the basis of the said statement. .

The same source said the movement is negotiating with “the opposite side” in order to enter Kabul in peace and avoid causing damage to people.
