According to the report of the prestigious media organization The Indian Express, out of the prize money of 125 crores, the winning team will get Rs 75 crore. That is, every player in the 15-member team will get Rs 5 crore each. These include three players who did not get a chance to play in any match on this tour. These players included Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson and Yuzvendra Chahal. These three players who were part of the 15-member Indian team will also get Rs 5 crore each.
Every major coach in the coaching group including head coach Rahul Dravid, batting coach Vikram Rathore, fielding coach T Dilip, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey will get Rs 2.5 crore. According to the report, each of the five members of the Senior Selection Committee including BCCI President Ajit Agarkar will be given Rs 1 crore. The rest of the backroom staff will also be rewarded. Three physiotherapists, three throwdown specialists, two masseurs and strength and conditioning coach will get Rs 2 crore each. Reserve players are also going to get crores. For the 2024 T20 World Cup, the selection committee had selected Rinku Singh, Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan and Khalil Ahmed as reserve players. These players will also get Rs 1 crore each.
