Nintendo, through an official note, announced the availability of Super Mario Party Jamboree on Nintendo Switch. This new chapter of the famous series offers a large amount of content, including seven different boards—both classic and new—over 110 minigames and more than 20 characters from the Super Mario universe. Super Mario Party Jamboree, as the same note states, is the richest Mario Party title ever.
The game supports 1 to 4 players, both locally and onlineengaging them in a competition inspired by traditional board games. The objective, of course, is to collect the greatest number of stars through the spectacular scenarios of the seven available boards.
From shopping sprees in the Rainbow Gallery, to the sea storms of Goomba Island, to the race against time in the Giradado Circuit, up to the Forest of the sleepy Mega Wiggler, to the sultry Western Land, to Mario’s iconic Rainbow Castle and the inevitable Bowser’s Lair. For all participants it is possible to customize the gaming experience with the party rules, available for a less demanding challenge and the rules for experts, capable of minimizing the role of luck to leave room for the skills of each player.
In Super Mario Party Jamboree it will be possible to select your character from over 20 protagonists from the world of Super Mariofrom Yoshi, to Mario himself, up to the new Pauline and Ninji, who will join the party on this special occasion. As if that wasn’t enough, during the game, some of these characters will appear on the boards as Jamboree partners to obtain advantages and valuable allies who will prove useful for the conquest of the stars that will lead to victory. Furthermore, for the more competitive players who want to engage in battles to the last minigame, it will be possible to visit the Minigame Port, a collection of over 110 challenges that can be tackled at will in Free Mode, in pairs, in 2 vs 2 matches or, again, online, for challenges against the rest of the world in Survival Mode.
Furthermore, for lovers of online competition, Super Mario Party Jamboree introduces Bowser’s Challenges: two special game modes accessible from every continent, which will allow you to further amplify the fun. Thanks to the Bowserathlon, for example, it will be possible to demonstrate one’s skills in the many minigames available, for a total of 20 players at the same time. Additionally, in the Anti-Bowser Squad mode, up to 8 players can work together online to defeat a fake Bowser by collecting bombs and joining forces with others in turn-based cooperative minigames.
