- Natrajan will be replaced by Umran Malik at Sunrisers Hyderabad
- Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost seven of their last eight matches
- Hyderabad’s next match is against Punjab on Saturday
Hyderabad have added a new player to their squad as it has become clear that Natarajan will not be able to play in some of the upcoming matches. Umran Malik joined the team for a limited time. Umran Malik is currently playing with the Hyderabad team as a net bowler. He is also an all-rounder who plays domestic cricket for Jammu and Kashmir.
Hyderabad are in a precarious position to go ahead this time as their injuries and setbacks have backfired. With seven defeats from eight games, the team can only hope to win the remaining games in the play – offs. Six defeats in the first quarter and defeats in the first match of the UAE edition are a testament to the team’s weakness.
Sunrisers have six games left in the season. The team’s goal will be a win that can be turned upside down. The absence of players like Jason Roy and Johnny Bairstow from the team in the second quarter weakened the batting. Natarajan’s absence also affected the bowling department. Hyderabad will have to complete the remaining matches with out-of-form players like Kedar Jadhav and Manish Pandey.
