Vodafone Idea
About 35.37 crore shares or 0.52 per cent stake of Vodafone Idea held by Birla TMT Holdings have been transferred to Birla Group Holdings after the merger plan got approval from NCLT. Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) informed BSE about this. Despite this change, the total stake of Aditya Birla Group in VIL remains unchanged. The total stake of Aditya Birla Group in the telecom company remains stable at 15.01 per cent.
IRCTC
IRCTC’s profit increased by 1.9 percent year-on-year to Rs 284.2 crore in the March quarter of FY 2024, from Rs 278.8 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The company’s revenue grew by 19.7 percent to Rs 1154.8 crore from Rs 965 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The company’s board has announced a final dividend of Rs 4 per share.
SBI
State Bank of India (SBI) has promoted 9 CGMs to the post of Deputy Managing Director (DMD). SBI told the stock market that these promotions have become effective from May 28. According to the information given to the stock market, Shiv Om Dixit, Kshitij Mohan, Satish Rao Nagesh, Virendra Bansal, Ashok Kumar Sharma, GS Rana, Ravi Ranjan, Prem Anup Sinha and Naveen Chandra Jha have been promoted. Currently 22 DMDs are working in the country’s largest bank.
NBCC
The profit of public sector company NBCC Limited increased by 26 percent to Rs 136.08 crore in the March quarter of the last financial year. The company had recorded a profit of Rs 108.4 crore in the same period a year ago. NBCC’s operating income increased to Rs 4,024.5 crore. This figure was Rs 2,813.35 crore in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2022-23.
RITES
The profit of public sector RITES Limited for the fourth January-March quarter of the last financial year has declined by 1.59 percent to Rs 136.67 crore. The company’s profit in the same quarter last year was Rs 138.89 crore. The total income of RITES Limited declined to Rs 667.68 crore. It was Rs 705.63 crore in the same quarter of 2022-23. Expenditure came down to Rs 483.32 crore, which was Rs 514.17 crore in the same period last year.
Inox
Inox Wind Energy, one of the promoters of Inox Wind Limited, sold 4.6 percent stake in the company for Rs 904 crore through open market transactions. According to data available about bulk deals on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE, Inox Wind Energy (IWEL) sold a total of six crore shares on the stock markets. This is equal to 4.6 percent stake in Noida-based Inox Wind Limited. IWEL sold 5.50 crore shares of Inox Wind on NSE while the promoter company sold 50 lakh shares of the company on BSE.
