Paytm

The loss of fintech company One97 Communications increased to Rs 550 crore in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2023-24. The loss in the same period last year was Rs 167.5 crore. One97 Communications owns the Paytm brand. Paytm said its fourth quarter results were impacted due to temporary disruption on UPI transactions and PPBL ban. Paytm recorded a revenue of Rs 2267 crore during this period, which is a slight decline of 3 percent on annual basis.

Nykaa

FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd, the parent company of online beauty and fashion retailer Nika, reported a 298 per cent year-on-year rise in fourth quarter profit to Rs 9.07 crore from Rs 2.28 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company’s revenue increased by 28.1% to Rs 1668 crore. EBITDA margin increased to 5.6 percent compared to 5.4 percent. Operating profit increased by 32 percent to Rs 93 crore.

Sun Pharma

The profit of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited for the fourth quarter (January-March) of the last financial year was Rs 2654.58 crore. The profit of the pharmaceutical company during the same period last year was Rs 1984.47 crore. The total operating income of the company stood at Rs 11,982.9 crore in the fourth quarter of 2023-24, which was Rs 10,930.67 crore in the same period of FY 2022-23.

Suzlon

Suzlon Group has received new contracts from Juniper Green Energy for the development of 402 MW wind power projects. Suzlon will install Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers and a total of 134 wind turbine generators (WTG) with a rated capacity of three MW for both the projects at the proposed site in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan, the company said in a statement.

Power Grid Corporation

Public sector power company Power Grid Corporation’s profit in the March quarter fell by about 4 percent to Rs 4166.33 crore. Its profit has decreased due to partial decline in income. In the same quarter last year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 4322.87 crore. The total income of the company decreased to Rs 12305.39 crore, whereas in the same period a year ago it was Rs 12557.44 crore.
