IRCTC and IRFC results today
Today, on 4 November 2024, the quarterly results of IRCTC and IRFC will be released. Apart from these, results of ABB India, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, Bata India, Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company, Exide Industries, KEC International, Gland Pharma, Hatsun Agro, JK Paper, Raymond and Shankara Building will also come.
Sun Pharma
The US District Court of New Jersey has granted a preliminary injunction to Sun Pharma to delay the launch of Lexlevi. Due to this decision of the court, the company is prohibited from launching Lexelvi till the next favorable court decision or till the expiry of the patent in the litigation, whichever is earlier. The company disagrees with the court’s decision and intends to immediately appeal. Lexlevi (duroxolitinib) is commonly used to treat severe alopecia areata.
Zomato
Adonmo raised additional capital from select new investors on September 25 and Zomato did not participate in this fund raising. Due to the fund raising, Zomato’s stake in Adonmo has come down to 17 per cent from 19 per cent at the time of its investment in January 2022.
Zen Technologies
Zen Technologies’ profit increased by 365.3 percent to Rs 63.4 crore in the September quarter, whereas the company had made a profit of Rs 13.6 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Revenue increased by 263.7 percent to Rs 241.8 crore, from Rs 66.5 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
EBITDA increased by 322 percent to Rs 80 crore. Margin increased by 457 bps to 33.07 percent.
Maruti Suzuki
Vehicle manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India has recorded the highest ever monthly sales in October with sales of 2,06,434 units. The company sold 4 percent more units last month compared to 1,99,217 units for October 2023. Last month, total sales of domestic passenger vehicles declined by 5 percent to 1,59,591 units.
Tata Motors
Tata Motors Limited’s domestic and international sales declined marginally to 82,682 units in October. In the same month last year, the company had sold 82,954 units. Tata Motors’ total domestic sales increased marginally to 80,839 units as against 80,825 units in the same period a year ago. Total passenger vehicle (PV) sales, including electric vehicles, declined marginally to 48,423 units in October 2023 from 48,637 units.
M&M
Mahindra & Mahindra recorded the best monthly sales in October. The company sold 96,648 units during this period, which is 20 percent more than 80,679 units in the same period last year. In the utility vehicle segment, it sold 54,504 units in the domestic market, which is 25 percent more than 43,708 units in the same period a year ago. Total wholesale sales of passenger vehicles including exports stood at 55,571 units.
Hero MotoCorp
Hero MotoCorp’s total sales in October increased by 18 percent year-on-year to 6.79 lakh units, while scooter sales declined by 5 percent to 43,304 units.
