JSW Steel’s quarterly results will be released today, May 17, 2024. Apart from this, quarterly results of Zydus Lifesciences, Astral, Balkrishna Industries, Balrampur Chini Mills, Bandhan Bank, Delhivery, Godrej Industries, NHPC, Pfizer, Rail Vikas Nigam and Sobha will also come today.
RIL
Reliance Retail, the retail arm of Reliance Industries, will sell apparel of British company ASOS in India. For this, Reliance Retail has partnered to sell the products of British online retailer ASOS in India. Under the long-term licensing agreement, Reliance Retail will be the exclusive retail partner of ASOS across all online and offline channels in India. The products of British fashion brand ASOS are especially focused on the youth.
CONCOR
The profit of Container Corporation of India Limited for the fourth quarter of the last financial year ending March 2024 has increased by 9.88 percent to Rs 301.25 crore. The company had earned a profit of Rs 274.14 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The company’s operating income during the quarter under review stood at Rs 2,417.87 crore, which was Rs 2,281.75 crore in the same period a year ago.
Biocon
Biocon’s profit declined by 46.2 percent on an annual basis in the last March quarter to Rs 222.9 crore. Revenue increased by 3.8% to Rs 3917.1 crore. Whereas EBITDA declined by about 9.5 percent to Rs 1035.2 crore.
Vodafone Idea
The loss of telecom company Vodafone Idea increased to Rs 7675 crore in the quarter ending March 2024. The company’s losses have increased mainly due to increase in interest and finance costs. The company had suffered a loss of Rs 6419 crore in the same quarter of 2022-23 a year ago. The company’s income during this period was around Rs 10,607 crore. The company’s loss increased to Rs 31,238.4 crore in the entire financial year 2023-24.
Mahindra and Mahindra
Mahindra Group plans to invest Rs 37,000 crore in the next three years, a major part of which will go to the automobile segment. The company plans to introduce nine SUVs, seven electric vehicles (EVs) and seven light commercial vehicles with conventional engine ICE by 2030. Of the nine ICE SUVs to be introduced during this period, six will be brand new models while three will be advanced versions of the existing models.
