Paytm
SEBI has issued a notice to One97 Communications, the company that operates the Paytm brand, on the employee stock options given to Managing Director and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma. Paytm said in its response to the stock market that this notice is not a new development and it is in touch with the market regulator in this regard. According to Paytm’s annual results for the financial year 2023-24, the company had issued 2.1 crore employee stock options (ESOPs) to Sharma in 2021-22.
BHEL
Public sector engineering company Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has received a contract of more than Rs 11,000 crore to set up three thermal power projects. GST is not included in this amount. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited said in a notice to BSE, BHEL has signed a contract with Adani Power and its subsidiary company (Mahaan Energean Limited) for the supply of equipment (boiler, turbine, generator) and installation and commissioning processes for three power projects.

HCL Technologies

The hotel chain has signed a new property, Lemon Tree Hotel, Civil Lines, Ayodhya. The 80-room hotel property is expected to open in FY 2028 and will be managed by its subsidiary Carnation Hotels.

Pinebridge Investment Asia Limited a/c PB Global Funds-Pinebridge India EQ Fund bought 1 per cent stake in the company at an average price of Rs 1202.92 per share. PM Consultancy bought 0.64 per cent stake at an average price of Rs 1285.78 per share, and BofA Securities Europe SA bought 0.78 per cent stake at an average price of Rs 1287.75 per share. Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund acquired 0.6 per cent stake in Interarch at an average price of Rs 1218.08 per share and Rs 1299.92 per share.
