NTPC
Public sector power company NTPC on Wednesday gave an interim dividend of Rs 3151 crore to shareholders for the financial year 2023-24. The company said in a statement that this is 32.50 percent of the paid equity capital of the company. Earlier, the company had given the first interim dividend of Rs 2182 crore in November 2023 and the second interim dividend of Rs 2182 crore in February 2024.
NBCC
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between NBCC (India) Limited and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) to collaborate for developing a prime land parcel of MTNL in New Delhi. The project is worth around Rs.1600 crore.
SBI
Bank SBI Indonesia (BSBII), the overseas banking subsidiary of State Bank of India in Indonesia (SBI holds 99.56 per cent stake), has proposed to issue preference shares to PT Bank KEB Hana, Indonesia, for regulatory compliance of meeting the minimum 1 per cent local shareholding requirement, the bank informed the exchanges.
Shriram Finance
The company approved senior, secured, rated, listed redeemable, taxable and non-convertible debentures on private placement basis for an issue size of Rs 1,000 crore and a green shoe option of Rs 500 crore.
Tata Steel
The company signed a £500 million grant deal with the UK government for the £1.25 billion green steel project at Port Talbot. The deal is to set up an electric arc furnace at Port Talbot. The grant will help preserve 5,000 jobs.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone has signed a concession agreement with DPA Container and Clean Cargo Terminal to develop berth number 13 at Deendayal Port in Kandla, Gujarat. The company said that AP-SEZ has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary DPA Container and Clean Cargo Terminal. It will operate the ghat i.e. ship docking place. The ghat will handle multipurpose cargo and is expected to be operational in FY 2026-27.
Nazara Technologies
The company has announced the acquisition of 15.86 per cent stake in GetStan Technologies Pte, an esports community platform in India. Nazara will acquire the stake in STAN for Rs 18.4 crore in an all-cash secondary transaction.
