HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank results on Saturday
Quarterly results of HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank will be released on Saturday, July 20. Apart from these, results of RBL Bank, Yes Bank, Can Fin Homes, Gravita India, JK Cement, Netweb Technologies India, Rossari Biotech and Shakti Pumps will also come on Saturday.
Infosys
Infosys’ consolidated net profit during the June quarter of FY 2024-25 increased by 7 per cent to Rs 6,368 crore. Whereas according to BSE filings, the company had earned a profit of Rs 5,945 crore in the same period a year ago. The company’s net profit declined by 20 per cent in April-June, from Rs 7,969 crore during the previous quarter i.e. January-March 2024. For the current financial year, the company has increased its revenue growth guidance from 1-3 per cent to 3-4 per cent in constant currency terms. The company is expecting to hire 15,000-20,000 new people during the current financial year.
Tata Communications
Tata Communications’ profit fell 12.8 percent to Rs 332.84 crore in the April-June quarter from Rs 381.69 crore in the same period last year. The company’s income from data services increased 20 percent to Rs 4,694 crore. The company’s operating income grew 18.1 percent to Rs 5,633.3 crore from Rs 4,771.3 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
JSW Infrastructure
JSW Infrastructure’s profit declined by about 8 per cent to Rs 296.55 crore in the quarter ended June 2024. The company’s profit has declined mainly due to higher expenses. The company had a profit of Rs 322.20 crore in the April-June quarter of the last financial year 2023-24. The total income of JSW Infrastructure increased to Rs 1,103.69 crore in the quarter ended June 2024 from Rs 918.24 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Sun Pharma
The Supreme Court has rejected the petition of pharmaceutical company Sun Pharma against the demand notice of NPPA. In the petition, the demand notice of Rs 4.65 crore received from the authority for recovery of excess amount charged by the company for anti-bacterial infection medicine Rosilox was challenged. The demand notice of NPPA against Sun Pharma was of 2005.
Tata Power, NHPC
Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has joined hands with public sector NHPC Renewable Energy Limited (NHPC-REL) to install solar panels on the rooftops of government buildings of central ministries, states and union territories. This will be done under the ‘Rooftop Solar’ scheme.
