SBI
State Bank of India (SBI), the largest public sector bank, has raised Rs 10,000 crore by issuing its seventh infrastructure bond. SBI said it has raised Rs 10,000 crore through its seventh infrastructure bond at a coupon rate of 7.23 per cent. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that State Bank of India will open 500 more branches in the current financial year to take its total network to 23,000.
NTPC
Public sector company NTPC has paid Rs 2424 crore to its shareholders as interim dividend. NTPC said that on November 18, the company paid the first interim dividend of Rs 2424 crore for the financial year 2024-25, which is 25 percent of the paid equity capital of the company. The Board of Directors of NTPC had on October 24 approved the first interim dividend of Rs 2.50 on each share of face value Rs 10 for the financial year 2024-25.
MedPlus Health Services
Premji Invest and SBI Mutual Fund sold 6.6 per cent stake in MedPlus Health Services for Rs 552 crore through an open market transaction. MedPlus Health Services is a retail pharmacy and diagnostics chain in India. Billionaire Azim Premji’s PE firm Premji Invest, through its arm PI Opportunities Fund-I, sold 68.93 lakh shares or 5.77 per cent stake in MedPlus Health Services, according to bulk deals data available on NSE.
Waaree Energies
Wari Energies’ profit for the July-September quarter has increased by 17 percent to Rs 375.6 crore. The company’s profit has increased due to increase in income. This is the first quarterly result of Waari Energies after its listing on October 28. The company’s shares were listed at Rs 2,550, a jump of 70 percent from its issue price of Rs 1,503. Total income increased to Rs 3663.4 crore, which was Rs 3558.5 crore in the second quarter of the last financial year.
Bajaj Finance
The fixed deposit book of NBFC company Bajaj Finance reached Rs 66,131 crore by September 30, 2024, with a growth of 21 percent. As of September 30, 2024, the total number of customers of the company was 9.21 crore. The number of net users on its app was 6.16 crore.
ITI
The company received a contract worth Rs 95 crore from the Directorate of Geology and Mining, Government of Uttarakhand for mining digital transformation and monitoring system in Uttarakhand.
