Reliance Industries has acquired 21 percent stake in America’s helium gas exploration and production company Wavetech Helium for $12 million. WHI was launched in the US on July 2, 2021 and its commercial operation will begin in 2024. Helium is used in medical applications, scientific research, space engineering and aeronautics, electronics, and fiber optics.
Zomato
Food delivery giant Zomato closed its qualified institutional placement (QIP) issue and raised Rs 8,500 crore through allotment of 33.64 crore equity shares at a price of Rs 252.62 per share. Which is 5 percent less than the floor price of Rs 265.91 per share.
PC Jeweler
The company board has fixed December 16 as the record date for sub-division or split of equity shares. Under this, 1 equity share of face value Rs 10 will be divided into 10 equity shares of face value Rs 1 each.
KEI Industries
The company has raised Rs 2,000 crore through allotment of 52,63,157 equity shares to 104 qualified institutional buyers at an issue price of Rs 3,800 per share, which is a discount of 2.07 per cent to the floor price of Rs 3,880.54 per share. Investors include ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Kotak Mutual Fund, Government Pension Fund Global and Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund.
HDFC Life Insurance
The company has informed the media about the changes in bank assurance rules on behalf of IRDAI. The life insurance company has clarified that regulatory changes of this nature are usually preceded by consultation with the industry.
Fine Organic Industries
The company will resume operations at its Badlapur plant from November 28 and is actively working to bring all other plant activities back to normal.
BEML
Public sector company BEML has said that it has received a contract worth Rs 3,658 crore from Chennai Metro Rail Limited. Under this contract, BEML will supply 70 train sets equipped with 210 metro coaches to Chennai Metro. These metro train sets will be used in driver-less metro operations.
