Ambuja Cement
Adani Group has said that Sanghi Industries and Penna Cement will be merged with Ambuja Cement. The group is taking this step to integrate the cement business into one unit. The company will issue 12 equity shares for every 100 equity shares of Sanghi Industries. The company will pay Rs 321.5 per share for each share of Penna Cement.
Tata Motors
Tata Motors said that it has received an order for 1297 bus chassis from Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). Tata Motors said in the statement that this is the third order it has received from UPSRTC in a year. In this way it has received a total order of more than 3500 units. The company said that the order was won through a competitive e-bidding process and the bus chassis will be supplied phasewise under mutually agreed terms.
Kalpataru Projects International
Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has raised around Rs 1,000 crore through QIP by issuing 83.26 lakh shares at the rate of Rs 1201 per share. KPIL said in the information given to the stock market, after the allotment of shares in this issue, the paid equity capital of the company has increased from Rs 32,48,92,304 to Rs 34,15,45,092.
Aurobindo Pharma
The United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) inspected API manufacturing facility Unit-V of the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Epitoria Pharma in Telangana from December 9 to December 17. The regulator closed the inspection with two observations. These observations are procedural in nature.
Exide Industries
The company has invested Rs 100 crore on rights basis in its subsidiary Exide Energy Solutions. With this investment, the total investment made by the company in the subsidiary has increased to Rs 3,152.24 crore. There is no change in the company’s shareholding percentage in the subsidiary after the investment.
