Adani Wilmar
Adani Group has announced its exit from its joint venture company Adani Wilmar. The Gautam Adani-led group is selling its entire stake to Singapore’s partner company Wilmar International and in the open market for more than $2 billion. Adani Enterprises said in the statement that it will sell 31.06 percent stake to Wilmar International. Also, to meet the minimum public shareholding requirements, about 13 percent stake will be sold in the open market.
Adani Green Energy
Adani Green Energy CEO Amit Singh will step down and take over as CEO of Adani Group’s international energy business. The Adani Group company said in a statement that Ashish Khanna, CEO of the international energy business, will take over as the CEO of Adani Green Energy from April 1 next year. AGEL said that this step is in line with the plan of regular internal leadership change in Adani Group.
Lupine
The pharma major has acquired Huminsulin in India from Eli Lilly to expand its diabetes portfolio. Lupine is marketing Huminsulin series of products, including Insulin Human, through existing distribution and promotion agreements with Lilly India. Huminsulin is used to treat type 1 and type 2 diabetes, helping to improve blood sugar control in both adults and children.
ITC
The Kolkata-based National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has approved the plan to demerge ITC’s hotel business with effect from December 16. ITC Hotels will be listed within 60 days of receiving the NCLT order. The record date to determine ITC shareholders eligible for equity shares of ITC Hotels under the split has been set as January 6, 2025. ITC and ITC Hotels will execute a trademark license agreement and after the split, ITC Hotels will receive Rs 1500 crore from ITC.
Rail Vikas Nigam
RVNL has emerged as the lowest bidder for the Central Railway project worth Rs 137.16 crore. The project involves design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 132/55 KV Traction Substation in Bhusaval-Khandwa section of Central Railway.

The company’s subsidiary Noida Power Company has issued Letter of Award to Purva Green Power for supply of 300 MW wind-solar hybrid power on long-term basis. Purva Green Power is also a subsidiary of CESC.

The company’s arm, Flair Writing Equipments Private Limited, incorporated a step-down subsidiary company, Flomax Stationary, to pursue the business of manufacturing and distribution of stationery and other products.
Prestige Estates Projects
The company’s unit has purchased 49% stake in WSI Falcon Infra Projects which is developing an IT and IT-enabled services park in 6.53 acres of land located in Porur, Chennai.
