FSN E-Commerce Ventures Nykaa’s profit increased by 66.3 percent on an annual basis in the September quarter to Rs 12.97 crore as against Rs 7.8 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Revenue increased by 24.4 percent to Rs 1874.7 crore as against Rs 1507 crore. While EBITDA increased by 28.6 percent to Rs 103.7 crore. Margin increased by 20 bps to 5.55 percent.
Minda Corp
Auto component manufacturer Minda Corporation’s profit for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024 has increased by 25.42 percent to Rs 74 crore. The company had earned a profit of Rs 59 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The company’s revenue during this period was Rs 1290 crore, which was Rs 1196 crore in the September quarter of the last financial year.
Tata Power
Public sector LIC has sold more than 2.02 percent stake in Tata Power Company for approximately Rs 2888 crore. Now LIC’s stake in Tata Power has come down to 3.88 percent. In the information given to the stock market, LIC said that the company has reduced its stake in TPCL from 18,87,06,367 shares to 12,39,91,097 shares.
Hyundai Motor India
The profit of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) declined by 16 percent to Rs 1,375 crore in the September quarter. Its profits have fallen due to weak market sentiment and geopolitical tension. Total operating income during the quarter stood at Rs 17,260 crore, which was Rs 18,660 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.
Varun Beverages
The company has acquired SBC Tanzania for approximately Rs 1,304 crore and SBC Beverages Ghana for Rs 127 crore. The company has also acquired the remaining 39.93% stake in Lunarmake Tech for Rs 200 crore.
PNB Housing
Carlyle Group plans to sell up to $273 million of shares through its arm, Quality Investment Holdings, in a block trade at a floor price of Rs 939.3.
NMDC Steel
Due to increase in expenses, NMDC Steel’s loss in September quarter has increased to Rs 595.37 crore. The company had suffered a loss of Rs 131.10 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The total income of the company increased to Rs 1,535.46 crore from Rs 290.27 crore a year ago.
