Stock Market Updates Today : Stock market sentiments have strengthened as the chances of war between Israel and Iran have reduced. Both Sensex and Nifty indices have strengthened in today’s trading. Sensex is up by about 400 points while Nifty is also trading beyond 22250. In today’s business, purchasing is being seen in almost every sector. On Nifty, Bank, Auto, Financial, FMCG, IT, Pharma, Realty and Metal indices are trading in the green. At present, Sensex is seeing a rise of 363 points and it is trading at the level of 73451. FII and DII data
According to NSE provisional data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 129.39 crore on April 19. While domestic institutional investors (DIIs) sold shares worth Rs 52.50 crore.
Ban on NSE under F&O
NSE has added Biocon to the F&O ban list for April 22, while Balrampur Chini Mills, Bandhan Bank, Exide Industries, Vodafone Idea, Metropolis Healthcare, Piramal Enterprises, SAIL and Zee Entertainment Enterprises have been retained in the list. Whereas GNFC, Hindustan Copper and National Aluminum Company have been removed from this list. Ban securities under the F&O segment include those companies where the derivative contracts exceed 95 per cent of the market-wide position limit.
Dow Jones closed 211 points higher
American markets closed mixed on Friday. On Friday, Dow Jones Industrial gained 211 points and closed at the level of 37986.40. NASDAQ Composite saw a decline of 319 points and closed at the level of 15,282. Whereas the S&P 500 index fell by about 44 points and closed at the level of 4967.23. The 10 year bond yield in America is at 4.654. While the dollar index remains at 105.98.

Buying is being seen in major Asian markets in today’s business. Talking about Asia, GIFT NIFTY is showing a rise of 0.64 percent while Nikkei 225 is showing a rise of 0.71 percent. Strait Times has gained 1.41 percent while Hang Seng has gained about 2.14 percent. There is a 0.16 percent decline in Taiwan Weighted, 0.85 percent rise in Kospi and 0.15 percent decline in Shanghai Composite.
