In today’s business, both Sensex and Nifty indices are trading in the red. Today Nifty has weakened and reached below 24300. Maruti Suzuki and Adani Enterprises results today
Today, on 29 October 2024, the quarterly results of Maruti Suzuki India and Adani Enterprises will be released. Apart from these, quarterly results of Cipla, Adani Ports, Canara Bank, SBI Cards, Marico, Deepak Fertilizers, Engineers India, HUDCO, Laxmi Organic, MTAR, Shriram Asset Management, Star Health, Symphony and Voltas will also be released.
Crude below $72
There has been a decline in Brent crude. Crude has slipped below $72 per barrel in the international market. While WTI crude is trading below $68 per barrel. According to the provisional data available on NSE, on October 28, 2024, foreign portfolio investors i.e. FIIs were net sellers and sold shares worth Rs 3228.08 crore. Whereas domestic institutional investors were net buyers during this period and they bought shares worth Rs 1400.85 crore on October 28, 2024.

Today, on October 29, 2024, the stock list under F&O ban on NSE includes Dixon Technologies, Escorts Kubota, IDFC First Bank, Indiamart Intermesh, L&T Finance, Manappuram Finance, Punjab National Bank and RBL Bank.
Dow Jones closed 273 points higher
American markets closed on the rise on Monday. On Monday, Dow Jones Industrial gained 273 points and closed at the level of 42387.57. There was a rise of 49 points in NASDAQ Composite and it closed at the level of 18,567.19. While the S&P 500 index increased by 15 points and closed at the level of 5823.52.
Mixed trend in Asian markets
In today’s business, mixed trend is being seen in major Asian markets. Talking about Asia, there is a decline of -0.16 percent in GIFT NIFTY while there is a gain of 0.55 percent in Nikkei 225.
