Stock Market Updates Today :Today global signals seem mixed for the domestic stock market. In today’s business, mixed trend is being seen in major Asian markets. And before this, on Tuesday, the day of the US elections, a spectacular rise was seen in the American markets. On Tuesday, Dow Jones Industrial saw a rise of 427 points and it closed at the level of 42221.88. NASDAQ Composite saw a gain of 259 points and closed at the level of 18439.17. Whereas the S&P 500 index increased by about 70 points and closed at the level of 5782.76.
Talking about Asia, GIFT NIFTY is showing a weakness of 0.04 percent while Nikkei 225 is showing a gain of 2.20 percent. While there is flat trading in the Straits Times, Hang Seng has weakened by about 1.74 percent. Taiwan Weighted has gained 0.83 percent while Kospi has weakened by about 0.19 percent. Whereas Shanghai Composite is showing a rise of 0.56 percent.
Crude below $75 per barrel
There has been a slight decline in the prices of Brent crude. Crude has weakened in the international market and is trading below $75 per barrel at $74.86. At the same time, WTI crude is also trading with a slight decline at around $ 71.33 per barrel. The American 10-year bond yield is slightly rising at around 4.28 percent. Whereas the US dollar index remains near the level of 104.
FII and DII data
According to the provisional data available on NSE, on November 5, 2024, foreign portfolio investors i.e. FIIs were net sellers and they sold shares worth Rs 2569.41 crore. Whereas domestic institutional investors were net buyers during this period and they bought shares worth Rs 3030.96 crore on November 5, 2024.
