Currently, Sensex is seeing a strength of 163 points and it is trading at the level of 82516. While Nifty is trading at the level of 25240, down 41 points. Today’s top gainers include ULTRACEMCO, TATASTEEL, RELIANCE, ICICIBANK, ITC. While top losers include BHARTIARTL, HINDUNILVR, NESTLEIND, KOTAKBANK, SUNPHARMA.

Global signals are looking better for the domestic stock markets today. Buying is being seen in major Asian markets in today’s trade. Earlier on Wednesday, a mixed trend was seen in the US markets. On Wednesday, the Dow Jones Industrial rose by 38 points and closed at the level of 40974.97. The NASDAQ Composite fell by 52 points and closed at the level of 17084.30. While the S&P 500 index fell by about 9 points and closed at the level of 5520.07.

According to the provisional data available on NSE, on September 4, 2024, foreign portfolio investors i.e. FIIs were net buyers and bought shares worth Rs 975.46 crore. Whereas during this period, domestic institutional investors i.e. DIIs were also net buyers and they bought shares worth Rs 97.35 crore on September 4.
