LIC to Invest in Stock Market
Siddharth Mohanty, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), says that the insurance company is considering making a new investment of about Rs 1.30 lakh crore in shares during the current financial year. LIC has invested about Rs 38,000 crore in shares during April-June in the financial year 2024-25. This amount was Rs 23,300 crore in the same period a year ago.
