Stock Market Updates Today :Amid mixed global signals, some buying is being seen in the domestic stock market today. In today’s trading, both Sensex and Nifty are seen in the green. Sensex is up by about 100 points while Nifty is also trading around 22600. In today’s trading, most of the sectoral indices are in the green. Only the financial index on Nifty is in the red. Whereas Bank, Auto, FMCG, Metal, Pharma, IT and Realty indices are trading in the green. At present, Sensex has a gain of 88 points and it is trading at the level of 74,426.95. While Nifty has increased by 25 points and is trading at the level of 22,595.75. Today’s top gainers include TECHM, TATASTEEL, HCLTECH, ITC, JSWSTEEL, WIPRO. While the top losers include BAJFINANCE, BAJAJFINSV, KOTAKBANK, ICICIBANK, SBI.

Earlier on Thursday, American markets closed with a huge decline. On Thursday, America released the first quarter GDP growth figures, which were weaker than expected. After which selling was seen in the markets. On Thursday, Dow Jones Industrial saw a weakness of 375 points and it closed at the level of 38085.80. There was a weakness of 101 points in NASDAQ Composite and it closed at the level of 15,611.76. Whereas the S&P 500 index fell by about 23 points and closed at the level of 5048.42.

Stocks under F&O ban on NSE
NSE has added Vodafone Idea to its F&O ban list for 26 April 2024. Whereas Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, SAIL and Hindustan Copper have been removed from this list. Ban securities under the F&O segment include those companies where the derivative contracts exceed 95 per cent of the market-wide position limit.

A mixed trend is being seen in major Asian markets in today’s business. Talking about Asia, there is a weakness of 0.08 percent in GIFT NIFTY, while there is a gain of 0.40 percent in Nikkei 225. There is a 0.10 percent decline in the Straits Times, while a 1.69 percent rise is seen in the Hang Seng.
