Global signals mixed
Today global signals seem mixed for the domestic stock market. In today’s business, mixed trend is being seen in major Asian markets. Earlier on Wednesday, American markets had closed on the rise. On Wednesday, Dow Jones Industrial saw a gain of 309 points and it closed at the level of 45014.04. There was a rise of 254 points in NASDAQ Composite and it closed at the level of 19735.12. Whereas the S&P 500 index increased by about 37 points and closed at the level of 6086.49. Talking about Asia, there is a weakness of 0.05 percent in GIFT NIFTY while there is a rise of 0.54 percent in Nikkei 225. There is a gain of 0.87 percent in Straits Times while there is a decline of 1.04 percent in Hang Seng. Taiwan Weighted has gained 0.23 percent while Kospi has weakened by about 0.33 percent. Whereas Shanghai Composite is up by 0.18 percent.

Suzlon Group has won the contract for additional 302.4 MW wind energy project in Karnataka from Jindal Renewables. Suzlon had also received a contract for 400 MW wind energy from Jindal Renewable Power in October. Suzlon and Jindal Renewables’ subsidiary JSP Green Wind1 have expanded their partnership with an additional 302.4 MW wind power project in the Koppal region of Karnataka, the group said.
