Whereas on Monday, the US markets closed on a positive note. On Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial saw a gain of 51 points and closed at 39169.52. The NASDAQ Composite strengthened by about 147 points and closed at 17879.30. While the S&P 500 index gained 15 points and closed at 5475.09.
Talking about Asia, GIFT NIFTY is down by 0.16 percent. Nikkei 225 is seeing a gain of about 0.38 percent. Strait Times is seeing a gain of 0.48 percent and Hang Seng is seeing a gain of 0.67 percent. Taiwan Weighted has weakened by about 0.56 percent while Kospi is down by 0.82 percent. Shanghai Composite is trading at a gain of 0.09 percent.

Slight rise in crude
There has been a slight increase in Brent crude. In the international market, crude is trading at around $87 per barrel. While WTI crude is also trading at $83.50 per barrel.
