Stock Market Live: Buying in Asian markets, Dow Jones closed down by 24 points

Stock Market Updates Today :Global signals are looking better for the domestic stock market today. Buying is being seen in major Asian markets in today’s trade. Earlier on Wednesday, the US markets closed mixed. On Wednesday, the US markets worked for half a day, but good buying was seen. Dow Jones Industrial was down by 24 points and closed at the level of 39308. NASDAQ Composite was up by 160 points and closed at the level of 18188.30. While the S&P 500 index closed at the level of 5537, up by about 28 points. Today, on July 4, the US markets will be closed on Independence Day.

Talking about Asia, GIFT NIFTY is up by 0.03 percent while Nikkei 225 is up by 0.21 percent. Strait Times is up by 0.61 percent while Hang Seng is looking strong by about 0.26 percent. Taiwan Weighted is up by 1.52 percent while KOSPI has strengthened by about 0.66 percent. Shanghai Composite is seeing a decline of 0.15 percent.
