SSC GD recruitment application begins at ssc.gov.in:Tenth pass candidates have a better chance of becoming a constable. Staff Selection Commission i.e. SSC has released the recruitment of 39481 constables in various departments. The registration process for this has started from Thursday 5th September. Candidates willing to appear in SSC GD 2025 Constable Recruitment Exam can apply by visiting the official website of the commission – ssc.gov.in. Candidates have a chance to participate in this recruitment process till 14 October.
when will the exam be held
Candidates can apply for recruitment to General Duty (GD) Constable in various departments by visiting the official website of Staff Selection Commission till October 14. SSC GD Constable 2025 exam will be conducted between January and February.

selection process
The commission will conduct the SSC GD 2025 exam in four stages – Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Standard Test (PST) followed by Medical Examination.
Application Fees
Women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from paying the SSC GD 2025 Constable Recruitment application fee, while for others it is Rs 100.
Where and how many posts will be recruited
39,481 vacancies will be filled under the recruitment process. The shortlisted candidates will be recruited as Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
