The MotoGP season continues with the Spanish Grand Prix, two weeks after Maverick Viñales took victory at the Las Americas Grand Prix. At the Jerez Circuit, Jorge Martín will seek to improve his fourth place in Austin and remain the leader of the classification in the highest category of motorcycling. They are followed, in that order, by Bastianini, Viñales, Acosta and Bagnaia, the same ones who will try to close the gap this weekend.
In Moto2, Sergio García comes to this Grand Prix as the leader in his category, but only two points ahead of Joe Roberts, his closest pursuer. For his part, Daniel Holgado leads the classification in Moto3, with only two points ahead of David Alonso, which portends an interesting duel between two Spanish riders in Jerez.
