This Thursday afternoon (24), João Guilherme Silva shared a video in which he expressed deep gratitude for the wave of messages of support for his father Faustão. He says that positive energies have flooded the family since the announcement of the presenter’s need for a heart transplant.
“The messages of love and strength are filling us with faith in this difficult time. To all of you, I am immensely grateful for your love. Soon, everything will be fine again, and the support we have received renews my confidence. Thank you very much, from the bottom of my heart!” him, in the caption of the publication.
In the recording, João Guilherme recognized the support he has received. “I want to thank all of you for your messages, for your prayers. I was really impressed with the mobilization and solidarity shown by each one, and that fills our hearts with pride. I also wanted to share with you that he is recovering well. We continue in the battle, keeping our hope alive. Let’s move on guys!”, he declared.
Faustão has been hospitalized since last August 5 due to heart failure. The official statement from Albert Einstein Hospital on Sunday (20) confirmed that the presenter is awaiting a heart transplant and is part of the queue managed by the São Paulo State Health Department.
