This incident happened when Nitin Patel went to campaign for the by-election, Patel was talking to some people after the speech, when suddenly someone threw a shoe at him. The Vadodara police is searching for the man who threw a shoe at the deputy CM.
While Nitin Patel was talking to journalists, then someone threw a slipper which went just near his face.

Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani has condemned the incident, “Someone threw a shoe at Gujarat Deputy CM Nitin Patel, we oppose this method of protest, we have a huge ideological difference with them, but this type of culture is condemnable, hopefully the shoe thrower will be embarrassed and Nitin brother Will forgive them too.”
