Promote long term investment
HDFC Children’s Fund is an open ended equity fund with a lock in of 5 years or till the child attains adulthood (whichever is earlier). Lock-in of 5 years means that while doing financial planning in the name of children, the investment has to be maintained for a long period. The aim of this scheme is to generate high returns in the long term, so that the financial goals set for the children can be achieved.
