Meeting Myanmar in the final match, the Vietnamese team delivered a beautiful performance. Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team defeated their opponents 5-0, entering the semi-finals at the top of Group B. Notably, the match against Myanmar also marked Xuan Son’s debut in the Vietnamese team shirt. The striker wearing the Nam Dinh club shirt played most prominently on the field, contributing a double goal in the 55th and 90th minutes.

After the match, Xuan Son expressed: “I feel very happy. This is my first match and I feel very happy with the great atmosphere that Vietnamese fans bring.

I trained hard, played hard and fulfilled my promise to all Vietnamese fans. I always try and follow Coach Kim Sang-sik’s instructions closely to be able to connect well with my teammates. I’m really happy to wear the shirt of the Vietnamese team.”

Entering the semi-finals at the top of Group B, the Vietnamese team will face Singapore in the semi-finals. This is considered a match worth watching as Singapore also delivered a commendable performance in Group A.
