Shaheen-3 Missile News: Allahu Akbar… Pakistan Army’s move amid ruckus in Parliament, test-fired Shaheen-3 missile


Islamabad: Pakistan Army has test-fired Shaheen-3 missile in Parliament amid a dispute between the ruling party and the opposition. Shaheen-3 is a long-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile. Equipped with the capability to carry nuclear weapons, the range of this missile is 2750 km. This distance is enough to target Chennai in India. After the successful test, President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated the scientists and engineers. Shaheen-3 was first test fired on 9 March 2015.

Shaheen-3 Pakistan’s longest range missile
Its design and technology were tested during the testing of Shaheen-3 missile. It is one of Pakistan’s solid-fuelled ballistic missiles that can carry nuclear warheads. According to the information, it has the highest range among all the missile systems of Pakistan. Shaheen-1, which was tested earlier, has a range of 900 km, while Shaheen-2 can hit 1500 km with nuclear weapons.
