Mustafa Sentop, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, met with Turkish businessmen and investors in the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan, on the sidelines of an official visit.
Sentop arrived in Nur-Sultan at the head of a Turkish delegation to participate in the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkish-speaking countries and hold bilateral talks.
The Anadolu Agency correspondent reports that the Speaker of Parliament met a number of Turkish businessmen and investors on the first day of his visit to the Kazakh capital.
In a speech during the meeting, Sentop announced that he would meet with senior Kazakh officials on Monday, including President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
He stressed that the bilateral relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan have reached a very good level and are based on solid foundations from an economic point of view.
