Sachin Tendulkar likes to eat this dish every day for breakfast

He has shared his choice for Misal Pav with his fans on Twitter. A video of Sachin enjoying the popular Maharashtrian dish has made people aware of his favorite breakfast.

In his shared video, Sachin can be heard saying, “Misal pav ki baat ki baat hai. It reminds me of Burmese Crusted. But the misal pav of Maharashtra is no. With a smile on his face, he takes a spoonful of curry and starts eating it. In the video, he seems happy with its taste.

Along with the video, he wrote in the caption, “Sunday or Monday, I will eat misal pav any day! What do you think of a perfect breakfast?” The video has been viewed over 3 lakh times on social media.
Commenting on the video, one user wrote, “Mumbai mein = Mamledar if misal is better almost everywhere in Pune and Nashik in Pune,” another wrote, “You have the best misal to eat in Nashik.”
In misal pav, onions, tomatoes, lemon juice and green coriander are poured over the sprouts curry. Street food is served with soft pav. The word ‘misal’ in Marathi means mixture and sprouted curry is called usal.
