Kyiv: While the war between Russia-Ukraine has been a month, the use of new and fierce weapons in the war is increasing. At a meeting of the US-led military alliance NATO on Thursday, Ukrainian President Zelensky claimed that Russia is now using phosphorus bombs for attacks. According to media reports, Russia opened fire in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine on Wednesday night. The Kyiv Independent, quoting the local governor, said that Russia used phosphorus bombs along with missiles in this attack. Russia is unable to move forward, so is using heavy weapons in desperation. At the same time, NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg has warned Russia that the scope of this war will change if it uses chemical or biological weapons. This would be against international law and would have cascading ramifications. At the same time, it will have a serious impact on the people of Ukraine.

Earlier on Thursday, Ukraine also claimed to have destroyed a Russian ship – Orsk – in the port city of Mariupol. The ship was delivering weapons to Russian soldiers present in Mariupol.
