‘RSS is like a coward, I’m like a lizard’; Swami Prasad Maurya says BJP will be wiped out

Lucknow: Swami Prasad Maurya, who resigned from the Yogi Adityanath government and joined the Samajwadi Party, has said he will not give up until the BJP is wiped out from Uttar Pradesh. The RSS is like a cobra and the BJP is like a snake. He made it clear that he would not fight like Kiri until the BJP was wiped out from UP. His response was via Twitter.

Swami Prasad Maurya said he had resigned from the BJP in protest of the BJP’s neglect of the Dalit backward classes and marginalized. Swami Prasad Maurya had told the media yesterday that his resignation had caused a major earthquake in the UP BJP and that many leaders would resign from the UP BJP before the Assembly elections.

He said he had not yet resigned from the BJP or joined the Samajwadi Party. But he said he would reveal his new move next Friday. Despite repeated statements against the BJP, Swami Prasad has repeatedly made contradictory statements about joining the Samajwadi Party. He told NDTV that his resignation had caused an earthquake in the BJP and that more ministers and MLAs would resign in the coming days.
