HDFC Mutual Fund: HDFC Flexi Cap Fund of HDFC Mutual Fund has completed 30 years on 1 January 2025. The latest AUM of the regular plan of this fund as on December 31, 2024 is Rs 66,344.40 crore and in this case it is the second largest equity of HDFC Mutual Fund. This fund has given an annual return of 19.01 percent in 30 years on lump sum investment and 21.06 percent annual return in 30 years on SIP investment. Since the launch of this fund, those who made one-time investment have got 185 times return. At the same time, the money of those doing monthly SIP of Rs 2500 increased to around Rs 5 crore.

HDFC Flexi Cap Fund : Investment Strategy
HDFC Flexi Cap Fund provides a strong portfolio by investing across all market caps. Companies with strong growth are given priority for investment by the fund. Strong companies that emerge even stronger from challenging times, thereby reducing permanent losses. There is effective diversification of the portfolio by this fund, and the portfolio has always been diversified across key sectors and variables in the economy to minimize the risk.
The share of equity and equity related instruments in the portfolio of flexi cap fund must be at least 65%. But there is no restriction on how much this equity holding will be in which share or which segment of shares in the scheme’s portfolio. The fund manager can include any category of stocks in the scheme’s portfolio as per his wish. HDFC Flexi Cap Fund invests 74 percent in largecap stocks, 2.3 percent in decap stocks and 10.8 percent in smallcap stocks.
