The young Mía de Molina, daughter Raul de Molinaspoke in an interview with Rodner Figueroa about how difficult it was to be raised under the fame of her father, the renowned host of the program ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’.
In the podcast ‘Face to Face with Rodner’, the Venezuelan said that he loves the television host very much and that is why it was a pleasure to have his daughter as a guest, who turned out to be famous “without wanting it.”
“I’ve known her since she was born, which is quick to say, Mia, but you’ve also had, I don’t know if, that luck of having to live under the shadow of being the daughter of a celebrity, I assume it has to be very complicated,” she commented.
Faced with this approach, the daughter of ‘Gordo’ answered that although she is grateful for her father, the fame she has brings her some things that she did not ask for: “I feel that there are many things that you prefer not to come out or be public, but at the end of the day day they will be.”
In this sense, he commented: “It has been a little difficult growing up like that, but at the same time I have loved it.”
After this, Rodner Figueroa spoke about how everyday it is to hear Raúl de Molina talk about his daughter and his mother, something that Mía is aware of and that is why she sometimes prefers not to tell things to her father for fear that he will divulge them. in ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’.
“You don’t know how many times I come home and the lady who works at the house tells me ‘Mine, but I didn’t know that I don’t know what or I don’t know how to count’ and I tell her: ‘I didn’t know dad was going to say that’” , he claimed.
Furthermore, he said: “It’s better not to tell him anything because then he can’t say anything.”
Raúl de Molina’s daughter explained that there was a time in her adolescence when she got upset with her father because he talked about her on the entertainment show.
“I feel that when I was younger, a teenager, more spoiled at that age it did bother me a lot because if it was a little strong that my personal things appeared on TV where millions of people could see it and I feel that at that age I didn’t know how to deal with that and people’s comments and everything that comes with putting your stuff out there,” he said.
But, with the passage of time, she has known how to handle this situation much better and that is why she explained that she does not care what her father says about her on the entertainment program.
In the interview Mía de Molina also talked about the bullying she suffered when she gained weight, but never because her father worked on television. “The only thing that has happened to me is that,” she said about the negative comments she received about her body.
The young woman is currently at the American University studying International Business, a stage in which she has had to distance herself from her parents, but where she is acquiring a wealth of incredible experiences.
