Quant Mutual Funds Performance: Quant’s mutual funds, which are facing investigation by SEBI on charges of front running, are still performing well in terms of giving high returns to their investors. There are at least 8 funds of the company which are at the forefront in their category in terms of giving high returns to investors during the last 5 years. All these funds are managed by Quant Money Managers Limited (QMML AMC), which is the asset management company of these funds.

Here the average annual return of the last 5 years of direct and regular plan of each scheme is given. There is a huge gap between quant and second-ranked funds
It is clear from the above data that these schemes of Quant Mutual Fund have performed very well in the last 5 years. Also, looking at the data of the second-ranked schemes in the same category, it is also known that in 7 of the 8 categories in which Quant funds are number one, there is a huge gap between their returns and the second-ranked mutual fund. Out of these, only the category of Focused Fund is such, in which the difference between Quant’s fund and the second-ranked fund is about 1 percent. In all other categories, this difference is from 4 to 8 percent. We have taken these performance figures of Quant and other mutual funds from the website of Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) and all the figures are updated as per the performance till 25 June 2024. SEBI is investigating the allegations
The market regulator SEBI is investigating the allegations made regarding the functioning of Quant Mutual Funds. SEBI will take necessary action based on the results of that investigation. It is also being said that due to this investigation, the pressure of redemption has increased in Quant’s funds. But the company’s head Sandeep Tandon says that he has enough liquidity to withstand this pressure.
