The elections in Armenia demonstrated that the acting Prime Minister of the country Nikol Pashinyan has the confidence of the people, this is an essential condition for further development. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, welcoming Pashinyan to the Kremlin on Wednesday, reports TASS.
“I would like to once again, personally, congratulate you on the election results. I think it is important for everyone, first of all, of course, for Armenia, for the Armenian people,” Putin said.
The Russian leader explained that he means that “such complex, acute and sensitive issues that need to be resolved can only be resolved if there is an opportunity to work effectively.”
“And for this, the most important thing is to have the people’s trust. You have it. This is shown by the results of the elections,” Putin added.
