Jammu Kashmir Election BJP manifesto: Voting for 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir is to be held in three phases. In the first phase, voting will be held on 18 September for 24 seats of the Union Territory. In the second phase, voting will be held on 25 September for 26 seats and in the third and final phase on 1 October, voting will be held for all the remaining 40 seats. To woo the voters of Jammu and Kashmir, which has 90 assembly seats, all the political parties are opening their election boxes. In this episode, BJP has released the manifesto. The party has announced that it will give financial assistance of Rs 18,000 annually to senior women of every family in Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmiri Pandits will return under rehabilitation plan: Amit Shah
On the inclusion of rehabilitation plan for Kashmiri Pandits in his manifesto, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the plan will be very detailed. We will focus on complete rehabilitation. During the peak of terrorism, many Kashmiri Pandits and people of Sikh community had migrated, who were forced to sell their property. We have started working in this regard, either their property will be returned or the amount will be provided for their property. We are on the verge of completing the rehabilitation of 6000 people. BJP Tika Lal Taploo also promised rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits under the Displaced Society Rehabilitation Scheme.
Announcing the election manifesto for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that Article 370 has now become “history” and it will never return to the Union Territory. Senior BJP leader Shah said in a press conference here that the last 10 years will be written in golden letters in the history of the country and Jammu and Kashmir and urged the people to vote for his party to continue good governance. Voting for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir will be held in three phases on September 18 and 25 and October 1. Earlier, Shah arrived here on a two-day visit to launch the BJP’s campaign for the elections.
In his address before releasing the manifesto of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Union Home Minister said that I know the agenda of the National Conference (NC). I want to make it clear to the whole country that Article 370 has now become history and it will never return. He said that Article 370 is no longer a part of the Constitution. He said that this article has only given weapons and stones in the hands of the youth and pushed them towards terrorism.
Shah said that I want to tell Omar Abdullah (NC leader) that whatever the results, we will not let you touch the reservation given to Gujjars, Bakarwals and Pahari people. He said that terrorism will be completely eradicated from Jammu and Kashmir. He said that a white paper will be issued to fix the responsibility of those involved in the growth of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Appealing to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to vote for BJP in the assembly elections, Shah said that give us a term of 5 years to ensure the development of the region.
