Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mahakumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj on Wednesday. PM Modi will take a holy dip in Sangam at around 11 am. According to Uttar Pradesh Information Department, more than 349.7 million (34.97 crore) devotees have participated in the Holy Bathing ritual since February 2, since the commencement of Mahakumbh Mela on 13 January.
Mahakumbh 2025, which started from 13 January, will run till 26 February. Millions of devotees have already come from the country and the world in this event and it is expected that new records of attendance and participation will be made in it.
The PMO said that Mahakumbh is the largest spiritual and cultural program in the world, which attracts devotees from all over the world. The PMO said that the Prime Minister pilgrimaged the pilgrimage Constant active steps have been taken to increase infrastructure and facilities at the sites. The statement said that earlier, during his visit to Prayagraj on 13 December, 2024, the Prime Minister inaugurated 167 development projects worth Rs 5,500 crore to improve contacts, facilities and services to the general public.
